ThoughtWaveAI works alongside the conversation without appearing as another participant. Its processing boundaries depend on the features and providers you choose.
Privacy Notice — effective September 28, 2026. ThoughtWaveAI is a product and brand provided by Aniruddh Tiwari. This notice describes the product's current beta data-processing practices.
ThoughtWaveAI runs alongside your conversation on the Windows desktop, so there is no visible AI participant to invite.
The beta uses an account email for access, onboarding status, and product feedback. When your device connects to ThoughtWaveAI services, network information such as an IP address may be processed and may be used to infer approximate location. ThoughtWaveAI does not require device GPS location for this purpose.
ThoughtWaveAI processes the audio sources available to the active session based on your configuration. Device, headset, operating-system, and meeting-app behavior can vary, so confirm your audio setup before an important conversation.
Audio and speech recognition can be processed locally when using a supported local configuration. This does not mean every feature is fully local.
When an AI feature uses your selected provider, the request may include recent conversation content and relevant user-selected Session Context needed to produce the response. This provider processing is separate from ThoughtWaveAI product telemetry. Provider credentials remain part of the desktop configuration and are not presented as Mobile Companion content.
You choose the notes, text, images, and supported documents added to the active session. ThoughtWaveAI does not need to accumulate every prior meeting automatically; you decide what material to carry into a future Session Context.
Mobile Companion provides lightweight access to the same active desktop session over the available local connection, including Discussion, Session Context, Assist, and Ask TW. It is not a standalone phone app or cloud-synchronized account.
ThoughtWaveAI may send limited operational telemetry needed to understand product usage, reliability, and onboarding progress. This can include account email, an installation and session identifier, app and operating-system information, session duration, feature-use counts, aggregate response timing, Session Context count and file type, and non-content error codes. ThoughtWaveAI telemetry does not automatically send meeting transcripts, audio, Session Context contents, Ask TW questions, AI responses, screenshots, filenames, local file paths, or provider API keys.
If you submit Session Feedback, ThoughtWaveAI stores the rating, selected feedback tags, and any optional comment you enter, along with limited session and device metadata. Because free-text feedback is user-provided, avoid including confidential or sensitive meeting content unless you intend to submit it.
When you use a ThoughtWaveAI website download link, the download request may be processed through ThoughtWaveAI infrastructure before being redirected to the release file. Limited download analytics may be recorded, including the download date and time, release and asset information, browser or device user-agent information, the referring website host, and approximate location such as country, region, city, and time zone derived from network metadata. ThoughtWaveAI does not store the raw IP address for this download analytics. A salted one-way hash of the IP address may be stored to help distinguish repeated download activity and support aggregate download-to-installation analysis.
